Cabinet painting is a fraction of the cost compared to cabinet refacing and outright replacing your cabinets. The challenge is getting a factory finish on your cabinets. This requires advanced skills and a tedious process. Most painting contractors aren’t prepared to tackle a project like this.
Our Process:
Preparation is Critical
Painting kitchen cabinets requires specialized skills. There is a correct way and wrong way to doing this. Many of the cabinets we’ve seen painted are not done the correct way. Kitchen cabinets are a unique place in your home that you utilize a great deal. Since your cabinets are touched, opened and interacted with constantly they require special treatment. They are not like the walls in your home that are typically untouched. Therefore, you need to have your cabinets painted the right way.
When you are painting kitchen cabinets, the foundation is very important. Here’s a simplified overview of the preparation we follow when painting kitchen cabinets:
- · Cover and protect all surfaces
- · Remove all hardware
- · Remove and label all doors and drawers
- · Wash and degrease all surfaces to be painted
- · Sand all surfaces with sandpaper
- · Vacuum and wipe down all dust from sanded surfaces
- · Drill new holes or fill existing hardware holes (if required)
- · Apply bonding primer
- · Sand prime coat to a smooth finish
- · Apply first coat of top coat finish
- · Buff sand in-between top coats
- · Apply 2nd top finish coat

Choose from a high-quality paint finish of any colour of your choice or from our selection of thermofoil finish colours.
- Selection: Choose from our large selection of Shaker, Raised Panel, or Modern Slab door styles.
- Removal & Prep: We remove your old doors and drawer fronts. We then meticulously prep your existing cabinet boxes.
- The Pro-Finish: We apply a matching high-performance factory-grade finish to your cabinet frames to ensure a 100% cohesive look.
- The Install: Once your new doors are ready, we return to install and complete your new modern look kitchen.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Deposits are required for scheduling purposes and are non-refundable.
To provide the highest level of service and maintain an organized schedule for all clients, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit confirms your commitment to the scheduled time and will be applied toward your total service balance. We understand that life happens; however, because this time is reserved exclusively for you, please note that deposits cannot be refunded in the event of a cancellation or no-show. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
